the many variations of the Colt AR-15 and M16 rifle family

Do you see the word "family"?

That is the SINGULAR form, Verbal...

Word Gaming Imbecile...

Temper, temper.  You need to get away from word gaming an get to function, design, and capabilities.

1.  Please explain what capabilities and parts that the AR 15 semi auto and the M 16 share.

2.  You have also dodged the part where I pointed out NOT ONE AR 15 semi auto variant was used by the US Military.  Your own source shows that.

3.  You have also dodged the part where on the M 16 list of variants there is not one semi auto only on that list.

4.  You have also dodged the part that on the AR 15 semi auto list there is not one weapon capable of auto or burst mode.

YOU stop with the word gaming and get to what each weapons does.  There is not a single "mode", function, or capability of the AR 15 that makes it a combat weapon.  If I am wrong please point out specifically  a "mode", function, or capability of the AR 15 that makes it a combat weapon.
