He has nothing to do with this.I was referring to the spending done by the current Congress.The president has no power to appropriate any money.Spending bills originate in the House.Congress holds the purse strings.He can't spend a penny that they don't appropriate.Now they wanna default on the debt they ran up.The "cliff" needed nothing done to it. It should have been embraced.Automatic spending cuts is what's needed, if we're ever gonna get this country back on track.Republicans would never go along with any cuts to defense spending.All they care about is cutting the social safety net.They don't give a **** about the deficit and the national debt.Their agenda is to roll back the New Deal.Always has been.They won't be happy until old people are sick and starving in the streets.
