Joe and Kamala's victory! Mind you I haven't drank in years, and just the fizz can get me buzzed!
Trumpies, I am sorry for your loss! Really, I feel your pain. Its painfull to be so emotionally invested in such a fraud , a liar and grifter and con man like Trump. The CULT 45 really gut hooked you, as you bought into a slogan; MAGA, then found out he couldn't deliver! Demagogues are very tempting to vote for, so I understand, but they can never deliver the goods, and will lie with impunity to hoodwink you!
But also understand, this is Cult like behavior(look it up)
His appeals towards racism, misogeny, and blatant bigotry bring out the unbridled hatred that always lurks within the American psyche. We have seem many cultists appear before, like Jim Jones, Branch Dividians, The Rajneeh and PT. Barnum who held a Svengali like effect upon those who drank their poison and ignored their 'better angels'.
If you had done just a little research, you would have discovered that Mr. Trump is a con man extraordinairre, and has such major character defects that cannot be ignored,eg. Johnston's book on his life as a con man. In reality, he just was not suited for the job as president of the USA. But you didn't! You wanted to believe his lies and slogans.
And so we enter a new era, of just plain old Joe. It will seem boring to you after the chaos of Trump.Normalcy is boring, but let me assure you, Joe is no flaming radical, and will pursue a boring agenda of NORMALCY, which to most Americans, will be welcome relief from the cacaphony and delusions of Trump.
Ike Eisenhower was right; we need to stay away from the extremes of the right and left and pursue a centrist path, and resist the extremists and violent rhetoric of nut jobs who seek to destroy what remains of our tenuous democracy.
