my father started losing it- and doing bad legal things to me. but anyways... so i joined a dementia board for 3 years for help. My FIL had dementia- and he had two wives. The first for over 25 years. She died.
He remarried to another woman and they stayed together 30 years. Her name was Jane.
my old man would visit him in the Va hospital.
He did Not even remember his second wife. At all!!! and she was looking after him. nice lady.
He would wander around family reunions.
have fits of anger- drop his pants and take a pizz on the floor.
he had those blank eyes.
