Decades?? Guess again. The longest sentence to date is 63 months. Some have gotten probation. And yes, there are representatives sitting in Congress itself, as well as Donald Trump and other Republicans, denying the reality of what occurred that day, and who have already tried to glorify them, make them out to be victims, "patriots" martyrs, "tourists" and the like.
And some Republicans have called their fellow Republicans out for DOING SO. And I've posted stories of those who HAVE. So who's trying to "tar all conservatives?"
