Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal (R) signed into law Wednesday a bill that allows guns to be carried just about everywhere including bars (and associated parking facilities), houses of worship, school safety zones, school functions or on school-provided transportation and government buildings, except of course the Georgia State Capitol.
It also provides immunity from prosecution for those who use a banned firearm in self-defense under the stand your ground law.
Guns in bars. What a great idea. Because we all know that people who have been drinking always exercise the best judgment.
