I had that function for years, but turned it off recently for business reasons - needed to get some non-contact calls.
I am considering turning it back on. I get perhaps 50 calls per day from spammers - and maybe 5 to 10 spam texts. I've had my phone number since 07.
The non-contacts are important to me because I do some work that requires people to reach me via word-of-mouth.
When my number gets to one of those strangers I have to be available regardless of the spam crap I endure.
I've had the same number for a LONG time but block spammers every week. Used to be every day.
Is that why the number of calls has dwindled? Who knows?
Being a complete asshole to people when I pick up helps too.
Only had to apologize one time because I was rude to a legit caller. A very understanding caller.
