I guess the guy was also involved in insider trading. That is speculation, but it seems new info is coming to light about that. Either way, at what point, if there is one at all, is it ok to celebrate the murder of a person based on their deeds? We may justify it by saying that things will now change for the better. However, it's highly unlikely anything will change. There will be no policy changes and private insurances will still deny claims that should be accepted. They will replace the CEO ASAP and things will go back to how they always were.
My take on this is that I am unsure. I never encourage death upon someone else. However, I am not going to weep either. Therefore, I don't support the act, but I don't exactly feel bad about it either.
Yes, it is 100% morally corrupt to celebrate the murder of UHC's CEO. If you don't like United Healthcare, then choose a different insurance company. Or, better yet, pay cash for the services you want a doctor to perform on you. Slavery was abolished a long time ago.
No one, including doctors, exist to provide people with services they didn't pay for.
The murderer didn't know anything or say anything about Brian Thompson being involved in insider trading. It seems he killed the guy maybe because he UHC wouldn't pay for some medical treatment he wanted or needed. The little F-er is a self-entitled prick who thinks he's some kind of super-hero for murdering the CEO of a company he didn't like for whatever reason.
Democrats justify murder "for the greater good" - one of the reasons I despise Democrats. Not the only reason, but certainly its one.
