The ME has been perfectly peaceful for centuries at a time. Most of the turmoil there has been of European causes - the Crusades, for example. Then conquest followed by military occupation and colonialism. Then the post-colonial manipulations, where box countries were cobbled together to create hodgepodges, and groups were set against each other deliberately in order to maintain post-colonial weakness so that wealth extraction apace could continue through economic colonialism. Then Israel was planted, bringing their zionist slaughters and nonstop ethnic cleansings. Then came the USA to exacerbate and exploit and rob and "regime change."
