This part right here is where I take a stance against. I understand why countries outside the Arab-Israeli conflict engage in this. However, the reason is illogical. Just because we are a democracy and other nations are as well, doesn't mean that they have to insert themselves into a long-standing war that has nothing to do with them. That is a choice. The war didn't come to them or us. They and us decided to insert ourselves into it. That is our fault.

I hope you see that putting a religious bent on this changes every thing from black and white to a multifaceted rainbow. People are willing to die for their beliefs, reason doesn't always play into the reactions.
