Before commenting I had to learn what a "Machine Learning Engineer" is.
To be a success in this field you must make a measurable contribution to the field of programming electronically driven logic circuits to make intelligent decisions that are based on the circuit's ability to assign weighted values to various inputs in order to arrive at desired results..... plus factor various risk vs reward calculations to know when it's wise to settle for an expedient result vs the best possible result.
IOW the successful Machine Learning Engineer devises a totally brilliant system of "human level electronic wisdom" in order to create Electronic Machinery capable of replacing skilled human labor and even management .
The successful "MLE" wins all sorts of awards plus a nice raise...and the other 999,999 monkeys that were hired to hopefully invent the same thing can be let go....!
I am willing to bet that if I told Tech Employees 25 years ago that they would be getting replaced by machinery in the year 2025 most would think I was a wacked out RW Conspiracy Theorist... [since their jobs required college degrees and of course their superior "critical thinking skills"].
They've been crying wolf about how "AI is going to eliminate 30-50% of white collars" that nobody believes them now
Which is very tragic since at this point in time...this is not a drill!
