I see a lot of memes and vids on social media about how depressed some of these workers are for losing their job after their department was sliced. I saw the same when Musk laid off all of those Twitter employees. They went to social media and cried like little girls. Look....welcome to life. This happens. It is not uncommon for neither a company nor a government agency to downsize. People lose jobs. I have been laid off for the same reason 3 times before. Yes, it sucks. But it is also the way it works. Evidently, they don't teach that in high school before they head out in the real world. I don't understand why some people are so upset about something that is not unusual.
Get over it. Find another job.
We know damn well what they're SO depressed about!
Losing their job is only a small component of their worst fears.
The fact is they know damn well that they'll now have to find employment in the private sector, where they'll be forced to do some actual work!
Watch how many of them start whining as if they're being tortured when they have to show up to work every day and have a real boss that evaluates their effort!
