Democrats Win One In Indiana After Republicans CaveStatehouse Democrats from Indiana are calling an end to their stand-off in Illinois after a deal was struck with Republicans in Indianapolis. The deal stipulates that the GOP will shelve efforts to pass "right-to-work" laws and efforts to make Gov. Mitch Daniels' executive order banning collective bargaining for state workers permanent. Also, Democrats were able to scale back a bill that would institute a statewide private school voucher program, and another that would allow companies to take over failing public schools. http://progressillin...big-concessions
