Now, that's some creative thinking!  I like it.  And, of course, even if he figures out a way to reach the border, like in Squid Games, he's going to get shot-up anyway.  In the meantime lots of people will make money on this.  In fact, I think his victim should be allowed to become the "bookie" taking bets on his survival.
