- studies (mostly from the 1970s and 1980s) suggested that high doses of THC (the psychoactive component of marijuana) might reduce testosterone levels and sperm count in animals or in men
- Marijuana may have an effect on sperm motility and count, especially with heavy or chronic use.
- There have been isolated case reports of gynecomastia potentially linked to cannabis use
