In the Army everyone is assigned a personal weapon which of course is in the arms room until needed for the field, training, range, etc.  For instance Aviation Crews and Tank Crews were assigned sidearms.  During my time it was either the 45, 38 or 9mm.  Most everyone else got the m 16 A-whatever. But I also have never seen a Semi Auto AR stye weapon in the Arms room,

Keep in mind Assault weapon is a made up term by the gunophobes. They can't use Assault Rifle because that basically is defined as a lightweight, select fire automatic rifle that fires an intermediate cartridge.

The law in Maryland refers to "Assault Long rifle"..


We need something far more reliable than your narratives.

 

Looks like they just banned M 16s.  By definition Semi Auto Long Rifles are not Assault Rifles by definition.  Which has been posted numerous times in the past.

A couple things on that.  While I have been there I was not a Jarhead like your dear ol' dad.  And you have no tales to share about anything military.
