Too many adults and too many children in the U.S. don't know **** about War. War needs to be a taught in the classroom, replacing things like gender studies, social studies and art.
Kids don't need to be told what gender they are - they can play with their junk and figure it out themselves. Kids don't need to draw pictures either - they do enough of this on their own judging by all of the graffiti that is out there. And, kids don't need social studies - which really should be re-named Introduction to Bureaucracy.
They need to learn what war is and why nations go to war. They should hear from guest lecturers about the brutality of war. About how an infantry unit had to gun down an entire village of Afghan children because evil men were using them as human shields. Or, from a drone operator explaining the strategy behind blowing up electric utilities and water treatment facilities to starve out the civilians who were supporting the enemy. Whatever bad-*** **** they did in battle should be shared with 14-year olds.
War is not just for killing soldiers. It's about completely neutralizing your enemy. Kill or be killed. Seems like these facts aren't getting through to most children and adults. This is the real world, folks. And, there's no sense in hiding the real world from people who would have been considered men and women some 300 years ago.
so video games don't do the same job?

If gender is not sex, why should a gender claim change what sex you shower with?
