Just like Sharron Angle, Joni is running hard from those remarks.
In an unprecedented move she cancelled a meeting with the editorial board of the Des Moines Register, Iowa's biggest and most influential newspaper.
She has also begged off meetings with The Cedar Rapids Gazette and The Dubuque Telegraph-Herald.
All three papers have now endorsed her opponent.

Why does she think that she doesn't have to answer questions on her positions?
