 All-wheel drive (AWD) has no bearing on a vehicle's resistance to the onset of hydroplaning. Hydroplaning is primarily influenced by factors related to the tires and driving conditions, not which wheels are being driven. 

You would have been better off investing your funds in a competent divorce attorney.
