This is what happens when cities try to offer local high-speed Internet service to their residents.
They get threatened by the big ISPs.
Companies like AT&T, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable Inc. have succeeded in getting laws passed in 20 states that ban or restrict municipalities from offering Internet to residents.
Now why would they do that?
I guess they don't like competition, huh Puss?
