A state ID is enough. You don't have to board a plane to vote. MAYBE some dude in alaska - but he has his own plane and the lake is his airport.

You are right, I don't know anyone without an ID, I also don't exist on the fringes of society.

For all we know those surveys were done in a large homeless camp in California and plugged into the statistical puke machine for the entire country.

We updated our passports last year, good to go for awhile. Lost count of how many times we have gone through background checks over the years.
