The total number of American casualties attributed to Iran over the last 47 years is likely in the thousands, considering various attacks and conflicts.

Our invasion into Iraq proved to be a huge mistake. They had no WMDs. Therefore, we were the aggressors, and the Iraqis and Iranians were on the defense. Did Iran kill any Americans before our invasion into Iraq while we were in Afghanistan? We had no credible evidence that Iraq had WMDs.
