Here is the sad reality. 

America has an awful track record when it comes to regime change. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Venezuela. We conquered these regimes only for them to rebuild and come back again and again and again. We don't know how to replace governments. We just don't. We only know how to destroy them...temporarily.
