He said during a speech in Iowa on Dec. 5 that "we will utterly destroy ISIS.
We will carpet bomb them into oblivion. I don't know if sand can glow in the dark, but we're going to find out."

Then, during the CNN-sponsored debate in Las Vegas, moderator Wolf Blitzer tried to pin Cruz down on his "carpet bombing" proposal.
"To be clear, Sen. Cruz, would you carpet-bomb Raqqa, the ISIS capital, where there are a lot of civilians? Yes or no?"

Cruz responded, "You would carpet bomb where ISIS is -- not a city, but the location of the troops. You use air power directed -- and you have embedded special forces to direction the air power. But the object isn't to level a city. The object is to kill the ISIS terrorists."

Uh, excuse me Senator McCarthy, I mean Cruz....isn't that exactly what we are doing now?
Apparently this asswipe doesn't know that ISIS holds the civilian population prisoner to serve as their human shields.
He seems to think that ISIS just stands in the middle of nowhere waiting for us to drop a bomb on them.
He also seems to have no idea that carpet bombing is a war crime.
Has Obama ever said he wants to defeat ISIS? His statements have ALWAYS been about "containment".
Why is Obama afraid of WINNING a war? Is it because he doesn't know how?

Tell me what Obama's "strategy" is in the middle east.
Go ahead, I'll wait. But not forever, because we both know that he has no strategy, and that's why ISIS keeps growing stronger, as we "lead from behind".

Did you see Kerry say that Assad is going to be around longer than him and Obama?
Amazing. Maybe Obama DOES have a strategy: capitulation.
