Seems to me that jug got drunk when Putin invaded Crimea in 2014.. Ukraine gave up all nukes to the Mother Land. We pledged support of their nation. Crimea's citizens voted in a referendum to which internation observers were invited. They voted to join Russia. Per the UN's own precedent in Serbia, their right to join Russia is inviolable.
