   You can let it rip. I've had barrels get so hot I had to wait a half an hour or more before it could go back in the case without melting it. Literally smoking. An adjustable gas block will help some because you can dial back the over gassing. 
   Also it looks to me that the rest of the forum just wants to snipe at each other over these guns. 
   Kind of sad if you really think about it. There could be some learning getting done but they can't seem to get past the hate they've generated for each other over the years spent here.
 

 
I suppose you can let it rip for fun.  But the reason the military went from a full auto M 16 (not AR 15 @Blackvegetable  ) to burst is because on full auto you lose accuracy.  Before burst you were taught 3-6 found bursts.
