I need no "counter argument" to your claims about what "everyone knows".
Clearly you failed statistics, or never bothered to take it.
Question: If someone is 70 years old, what is that person's odds of reaching the median age of 77?
Lol you failed statistics. Life expectancy is based on mean not median. Yes if they make it past 70 they have a higher chance of reaching 80+
Quite simply some people die much younger and never reach 70 and pull down the average. You can reach 70 and die in your 70s but the mere fact that you made it there means you're more likely to be someone that reaches 80+
This is so **** simple I'm amazed you are attempting to make a counter argument.
