It is cliche to say that the president is a puppet. before JFK was killed, the president had enormous power.

Since 1970, the power of the presidency has dwindled.

Aside from Trump dismantling the TPP, I can't think of any example from the past 30 years where a president has defied the megadonors.

Biden represents a new low in terms of presidential influence, status, capability and wherewithal.. he is personally vested with ZERO. He is totally controlled far beyond any previous president.

Biden could inspire a new weekend at bernies sequel where the president is dead and staffers just prop him up and he shuffles and flops around around with sunglasses on.

Who is running the Show? There must be a people scheming and jockeying for power in a tangled web of intrigue the WH has nor seen since the term of Grant
