The judge (from Indiana) who Hair Furor says can't do his job in The Trump U. case because of his Mexican heritage had to live in hiding for a year when he was a federal prosecutor.
The reason: In a secretly taped conversation inside a San Diego prison, a man accused of being a gunman for a Mexican drug cartel said that he had received permission from his superiors to have Mr. Curiel assassinated.
Why did they want to assassinate him?
Because as a prosecutor he worked with informants and sometimes corrupt Mexican officials to win convictions of members of murderous Mexican drug cartels in both this country and in Mexico.
