I'm going to start by saying that I am against abortion and find it reprehensible. That said, I think you're right. We can't "un-know" how to abort children so we should take a different tack and regulate it, ensuring clean, safe, affordable facilities. I don't want my tax dollars funding these places, but I understand that it is a person's right to choose what they do. Just like they don't want me forcing my choices on them, I don't want it forced on me. Not being a doctor, I can't really say what's considered a viable pregnancy, or one that should be terminated for health reasons. I can't make those decisions nor will I attempt to hazard a guess as to what the correct answer is. Where I draw the line is with multi-abortions, where it's almost used as birth control. If a woman can have a healthy child and chooses to abort, fine. But don't do it more than twice. Once is an oops, twice an aw crap, three times you're just irresponsible. I've posted several times about the butcher. The topic has been beat to death on here. And yes, chickie, he is getting a free pass.
