On day 99 of his administration, President Trump has once again dismissed Russia as a “phony” story.
Fox News’ Martha MacCallum asked him what he would say to the suggestion that members of Congress might not be so willing to work with him on policy because of his low approval ratings.
Trump argued that considering how much the media attacks him (with the exception of Fox News), his approval numbers are actually pretty good.
He said the press hits him on everything, including the “phony” and “fake” Russia story.
“The Russia story,” he said, “was made up because they were embarrassed by their loss.
They had this tremendous loss like nobody’s ever seen before.”

First of all, not sure who he means when he says 'they' made up the Russia story, the press or the Clinton campaign.
But aside from that, to say that nobody had ever seen a loss like that is laughable.
He lost the popular vote and his electoral college vote was among the closest in history.
Has he never heard of George McGovern or Walter Mondale?
Both of those elections happened in his lifetime.
Once again lying about something that is demonstrably false.
It's like a sickness.
