Pence was the head of the transition, while news stories of Mike Flynn being on the Turkish government’s payroll were breaking in media outlets like Politico, The Daily Caller and by Michael Isikoff at Yahoo News, in November, 2016.
He was the head of the transition when Congressman Elijah Cummings formally notified him by letter on November 18th, 2016 that Mike Flynn appeared to be on a foreign government’s payroll.
