New York Attorney General Looking Into Eric Trump Foundation
The New York attorney general, which has been investigating the Donald J. Trump Foundation for months, is now looking into the Eric Trump Foundation, after a
report in
Forbes exposed practices that seem to violate state laws.
“The attorney general's office is looking into the issues raised by this report," said Eric Soufer, the communications director for the New York state attorney general.

The board of directors at the Eric Trump Foundation is likely to come under scrutiny as well, according to Owens.
In 2015, the most recent year for which records are available, the 17-person board of directors included two Trumps, six Trump Organization employees, and one person gearing up to do $16 million of business with the Trump campaign.
That was a dramatic shift from the early days of the Eric Trump Foundation, when no one on the board of directors seemed to have ties to the Trump Organization, other than Eric Trump.
