Oh gosh, I never realized that American workers were held captive in chains and not allowed to quite and find a different job.Considering the job market in almost all cases is quite inelastic, I would say so. Then again, you're an ignoramus on the subject of economics so this is not surprising at all. Which I've never expressed, but you're rarely in contact with reality. If I remember correctly, you said something along the lines of "sweatshops help third world workers because they would get paid more than what they normally get." Then again, every neoliberal/right wing ragtag I've ever met/conversed with has expressed this opinion so denying it hardly makes a case for you being "honest."Save your psychotic ranting for others.Sorry you're so out of touch with facts. What does a stupid, ignorant 18-year-old kid know about what's best? What does a stupid, ignorant 50-year old kid know about what's best?Let's make Medicare and S.S. voluntary and see how much they "reject" privatization. Young Americans are more likely to believe in UFO's than believe they'll receive a fair share of their S.S. and Medicare. Are you willing to allow them that free choice? No, because you're a Totalitarian-lite Socialist moonbat.Your "choice" is obviously to let them contribute to a program where the private insurer charges monstrous premiums with high deductibles, or not to have insurance at all. A publicly funded insurance program isn't in it for the profit, so there's no comparison. I believe that BP and all other oil companies should have been 100% liable for their actions and said so at the time, if that's what the law was. It wasn't, because someone wrote a law making them only slightly liable.I believe that Democrat-supporting Goldman Sachs is a highly unethical company that gets massive favors from Democrats and a few Repubs in exchange for massive contributions.Who cares if they are supporters of Democrats? I haven't even voted for a Democrat. Ever. Most Democratic voters vote "Democratic" because they feel it's the lesser of two evils (as much as I disagree with their reasoning); they didn't vote for Obama because they wanted him to give handouts to Wells Fargo et al. Your system of unregulated capitalism for the poor and "socialism for the rich" (evidenced by your support of the bailout in 2008, as well as bailouts elsewhere) is what created the mess in the first place. Of course it's much more convenient to blame a "government run institution" like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, even though nobody with a working brain believes that. If you think they should be liable, then your anti-regulatory stance doesn't make sense. Edited by Avenger_of_Justice, 16 April 2011 - 01:03 AM.
