If I were dealing with an honest person, I'd cut you some slack, but given your endless lies. not a chance.IOW, I proved what you said was totally false. You didn't prove crap. You cited an opinion. Whenever I cite an opinion, you write it off as utterly worthless without even considering what's in it.So you have not one iota of proof, by your own standard. You said that the USPS is 'quietly lobbying for yet another massive bailout', which is a blatant lie.The federal government for decades pumped money into the Post Office to keep it afloat. No, the word "bailout" wasn't used, but that's exactly what it was.All they want is to recoup the money they were forced to overfund into their pension plan. That would solve all their problems.Perhaps, or more likely it would kick the can down the road with postal workers expecting to help themselves to Other People's Money like they've done for decades. You pinheads who think that UPS and FedEx will take over if the Postal Service goes under, are very short sighted.By law, the USPS is obligated to keep open post office branches that are running at a deficit in order to ensure postal services to residents of rural communities. You really think that UPS and FedEx will operate at a deficit in rural areas?**** those people in rural areas. They can just drive to the nearest town to get their mail. Even the elderly and disabled. Right Puss? The private sector is far, far, far more efficient than government bodies, and the Free Market would serve Americans better than the Post Office.Legalize letter delivery for everyone including private companies. Your union got that made a felony, which eliminated all private sector competition. If you self serving hacks don't allow that, tough s***. Edited by RichClem, 09 November 2011 - 11:00 AM.
