That's what Chuck says.Beats me. First time I've heard that Bush wore a bulletproof vest.FreeRepublic had a post that was supposed to be from The Hill, that said that Bush wears a bulletproof vest most of the time when appearing in public. However when I clicked on the link to The Hill I got this, so there's no confirmation of that. I find it strange that he would wear one during presidential debates, where the audience is screened and goes through security, yet he wouldn't wear one out in the open at let's say.....the Olympics.....in a foreign country?Or out in the middle of a baseball stadium?Maybe the Secret Service got some info that John Kerry was going to try and shoot him during the debate. President Obama Wears Bullet-Resistant Suit at InauguralBy Jose Fermoso Email Author January 21, 2009 | 3:00 am Barack Obama had more than the Presidential beast limo taking care of his safety yesterday. According to some reports, he wore a suit made by a clothier specializing in bullet-resistant clothing during the inauguration ceremonies. While no one from the U.S. Secret Service have yet to mention any details about the garments structure, some are speculating it may have come from the line by Colombian designer Miguel Caballero. As we noted last year, Caballero is well known for his super tough but flexible and business appropriate clothing (see pic at right), such as the $7,500 polo shirt that can stop a shot from a 9-mm revolver. http://www.wired.com...resident-oba-1/Does Obama wear a bullet proof vest? The Secret Service recommends that President Obama wear a bullet proof vest in public and he is likely to follow their advice.http://www.chacha.co...llet-proof-vestPersonally, I hope obama wears one to bed even. The last thing we need is President Biden. LOL
