They aren't "current" because they aren't correct. And don't think I didn't see that little slight of hand. Your first statement was "40% of the weapons sold are sold with no backround checks at all", and now that I called you on it, you've changed that statement to "40% of all guns sold are sold on the secondary market". Notice I included your misspelling in the first quote, to ensure you don't try to spin your attempt to change what you said. By the way, since you've obviously never attempted to purchase a gun at a gun show, the guy running the booth has to call the sale in to the feds and get approval. They do it on the phone while you stand there, unless you have a concealed carry permit, which shows you've already passed the background check. So you just dropped that 40% share of the market way under 10%. that's what i was thinking. i know at indiana gun shows, there is a background check. the only way to purchase a gun without one here is at horse auctions and things like that or personal trades like you mentioned. a very low number.
