Same reason yours sounds like when defending ideas over being honest about why you exist in plain sight. Every character's brain knows how they mind living beyond their own time adapting as displaced and social consensus gives those denying life a means to eliminate anyone that won't agree to disagree about being alive today.

Live eviL Academia, arts, economics, political philosophies, spiritual psychologies, social consensus between people building better tomorrows noon to midnight punishing anyone not obeying rule of law dawn to dusk tomorrow. What is the end of the day since there is this 6 hour window of space time unaccounted for in real evolving situations?
