No ****. when you are expecting a phone call from some business or government agency not in your contacts, you have to turn that **** off.

Even simple things like getting a number from someone so they call you to be sure the number is correct.
They aren't a contact just yet, so that call never makes it through.

Nothing is perfect. I just block numbers a lot. I probably have hundreds, maybe thousands blocked.
Over time it seems to works out. I don't get that many calls anymore.
Having gotten some interesting calls from non-contacts makes the effort worthwhile.
