Every regime on earth - ours, too - is oppressive to SOMEONE. And that someone is always in the minority. And it usually SHOULD be oppressed. We were a stronger and better nation when we were oppressing homosexuals. We would be a better nation if we opprssed transgendersm instead of "celebrating" them and giving them special rights. And we would never have BEEN in this position with trannies, if we had kept our foot on the necks of the queers.
