A far better solution would be to simply give the equivalent amount in a voucher to PARENTS, and let THEM choose the best schools for their kids! The problem is that when public schools get that money today, it's just throwing good money after bad because there is no competition and no accountability for a school to improve when their failure to educate kids works as the incentive TO RECEIVE EVEN MORE FEDERAL MONEY! The inner schools are filled with blacks and Mexicans. Mostly blacks. Their schools are an adolescent day care and one big fight club. That is not where our money should go. Let their parents teach their kids how to read/write and do simple math. Their problems are culturally embedded. It's their culture that is a train wreck. Schools are not meant to fix cultures. That isn't their purpose. Until they can fix their social issues, traditions, behavior, and overall way of life, they have no business expecting school funding.
Give that money to real schools.

Buying an education should be NO DIFFERENT than buying a car, a home, or a candy bar! The best ones survive and prosper, the worst ones go broke, and the result is an increase in the actual education that kids are receiving. And if you want YOUR kids to go to a liberal school that's taught by drag queens, have tampon machines in boy's bathrooms, and insist on teaching gay pride, black history, and Heather has Two Mommies, there will be schools that cater to that ****, and those "graduates" will quickly see how lousy an education they received when they can't get a job. But it's a pipe dream because Democrats beholden to the teacher's union and janitor's union will fight to keep the status quo where THEY get that money instead!
